Its location makes it the perfect holiday spot for those wanting both the idyllic tranquility of rural France together with the option of getting out and about and visiting the nearby towns and beaches.
The village of Treal and its restaurant, bars, church, village shop (with fresh baguettes etc) is within a one minute flat walk. Bleue itself, is the last but one house in the village.
The nearest large towns are Ruffiac and mediaeval Malestroit, about ten minutes away. Here you will find banks, supermarkets and restaurants in abundance. For more info see the Local Towns link on the Things to Do page
There will be a large lounge dining room designed around an impressive large Breton fireplace. UK TV, DVD, comfy leather sofas etc. Tiled floor and large oak beams holding the ceiling up above.
The next room will be the fully fitted kitchen with double height sloping ceilings to allow extra light to pour through from an additional window on the first floor. There will be a extra large stainless steel range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. Also a fitted breakfast bar with stools.
There will be a shower room and WC on this floor as well.
Upstairs will be two bedrooms on a parquet floor. One with a double bed in it and the other with two singles.
To the front opf the house there will be garden with outside furniture and BBQ. Below photo shows the view on the road side of the house.
To the other side of the house there is also an additional large garden with views across the rolling countryside- see below. There is an outbuliding in the garden.
The road that the house is on is quiet and leads off into the countryside in one direction and into the heart of the village in the other. See below photo.
Everything we install , from the kitchen and showerto the settees, TV and DVD player will be brand new so everything will be high quality.
If you want some sort of idea of the proposed finish to the house then take a look at Verte as it will be along the similar lines as that although Bleue is obviously smaller.
Bleue will be available to rent from 1.4.2009 but you can book now if you want to be sure of a place next year as many weeks are allready gone.
Below is the restauarant at Treal which being quite `countryfied` is open at lunchtime only and doesen`t actually have a menu. Just go in and see what arrives. We`ve never been dissapointed. It`s 10 Euros for 4-5 courses including a bottle of cider and a bottle of red.
Internet connection
As we live within a few miles of the house you are free to come and
use our PC to collect your E Mails. We have a separate office in front
of our house and you can access the web to pick up your messages there.
If you prefer to go to an internet café then there is one in Ploermel
which is less than15 minutes drive away. Free house buying advice is available
on request.
