The site of the house makes it the perfect holiday spot for those wanting both the idyllic tranquility of rural France together with the option of getting out and about to visit the nearby towns, restaurants and sandy beaches. Violet was completely renovated over the winter of 2009/2010 and everything in it is brand new right from the tile floors up to the ceilings. It`s been newly wired/ plumbed and furnished with new leather settees, bed, dishwasher etc. -everything inside is brand new and shiny !! This is truly a luxury gite ...

Ground floor
We have only renovated the ground floor of this house as it is so large. The top floor will remain empty and there is no access to it as there is no stairwell and the first floor is completely shut off. Internally the whole house is brand new throughout .

There are four very spacious rooms, all with radiators. The floors are tiled throughout and the whole house is modern, light and airy.

Like La Maison Bleue, Violet benefits from specially commissioned modern art works by a well known artist to give the house its own uniqueness and quality.

The brand new fitted kitchen is shown below. There are extensive work surfaces, a full size fridge/ freezer, a cooker a, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster etc.

There is a pine dining table, two large comfy leather settees, a flat/widescreen screen TV and DVD player. UK TV is installed. This includes BBC1,2,3,4 ITV1, 3& 4, News 24, CBBC, CBeebies, etc. Also British radio...R2,3,4,5 etc.

Violet is semi-detached but we also own the house it is attached to (you can just see it on the right of the main photo). This house is empty and will stay that way for several years ! No works will be carried out in that house, so you have no neighbours

Internet connection
As we live within a few miles of each of the houses you can come and use our PC to collect your E Mails. We have a separate office in front of our house and you can access the web to pick up your messages there . If you prefer to go to an internet café then there is one in Ploermel which is less than 15 minutes drive away. Also Macdonalds at Ploermel has free Wi-Fi access
