In Reminiac itself the The Ivy is a traditional Breton restaurant and a great place to sample the local delicacies. The menu changes all the time and can offer anything from snails and langoustines to steak and venison. The three course lunch is about 13 Euros including wine. On friday night there's usually a seafood special plus there's always steak and burgers etc available. Everything is perfectly prepared and served in a fantastic friendly atmosphere. Additionally, a kilometre further down the road is the village of Monteneuf which boasts a lovely bakers, general store and yet another great auberge
The ground floor boasts a light an airy open plan kitchen/ dining room and lounge with a comfy leather sofa and modern flat screen television and British satellite TV installed. It receives all the Freeview channels including BBC, ITV etc plus radio. French TV is also available on request
First Floor
The first floor of this Brittany gite has two rooms: The main bedroom with its pine double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table and an en-suite with toilet, wash basin and walk in shower. The Garden
The rear garden is accessed via the back door which opens onto a seating area with its garden furniture and BBQ. The lawn then blends gently into the field behind. The front of the house has off-road parking for one car and also extensive views across the countryside. You can see across the Brittany hills for about eight miles to the west
